Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Amen.
Confession of Faith
The Holy Scriptures
We believe in the divine inspiration and sovereign authority of the Bible, which is the error-free Word of God in the originals.
The Trinity
We believe in one God, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Creator of the Universe. It is eternal and immutable.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the divinity, the eternal pre-existence of Jesus Christ, his birth from a virgin under the power of the Holy Spirit, his perfect humanity, his atoning death in our place, his bodily resurrection and ascension, his personal return, visible and forthcoming.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit, his dwelling in the hearts of those who believe in Jesus Christ, his action in the Church of Jesus.
Man and Sin
We believe that man and woman were created in the image of God. We believe in the fall of Adam and Eve and of all mankind who remain under Satan's rule in rebellion, corruption and condemnation.
The Salvation
We believe in justification, wrought by the grace of God in Jesus Christ and received only by faith, the necessity of the new birth leading to a life of godliness, sanctification and testimony to the glory of God, by the action of the Holy Spirit.
The Church
We believe in the universal Church, assembly of the redeemed of Jesus Christ, of all countries and of all times, whatever the particular confessions to which they are attached, and whose true unity is in the Holy Spirit; we believe in local churches, communities willed by God, made up of people who profess to have found in Jesus "their Savior and Lord".
The Sacraments
We believe that Baptism and the Sacrament are rites and sacraments ordained by the Lord Jesus to those who believe in Him. And the Church is called to administer them until his return.
the Afterlife
We believe in the eternal bliss of the redeemed and the eternal punishment of sinners.
